Stevenage Swimming Club has a great team spirit and welcomes swimmers
of all abilities and ages.

A big well done to all swimmers that represented Stevenage across both galas at borehamwood and hitchin last night.
Both teams finished 5th at their galas with some very great swims. At borehamwood we had 3 1st place finishes all night so well done to James Cook, U/14 boys freestyle team and Laura copping on these. Also well done to Laura who managed 9 races on the evening
due to absence. It was nice to see great team support and cheering on the night to push
some swimmers to P.B.
At hitchin we had 3 swimmers team gala debuts (Callum hurren, Morgan Corporal,
Lauren,Vessey)
Congratulations to David Spicer, u16 boys medley team, Nicholas Hollas who all picked up first places finishes at hitchin.
Over the 98 races we had no DQs so well done to all swimmers for a technically sound performance.
Well done to all swimmers who swam over this long weekend of racing. Some swimmers were poolside for around 24 hours and still managed to deliver amazing times and P.Bs.
Congratulations to those swimmers achieving their county times this weekend. A very big well done to Kirsty.H, Giselle C, Lucy.C, James.C, Danny.B, Greg.L and Tobie.V on achieving East Regional quailing times.
A great weekend with a great team atmosphere, let's keep this up into every gala.

After a much deserved Christmas rest for all swimmers it was a tough first gala back for most only having trained once or twice before competing.
Well done to all swimmers across both teams who represented the club last night. Both teams finished in 5th place and a good attitude towards the team and each other was welcomed last night.
We have 3 weeks until the next round (jan 28th) so keep your eyes peeled on the notice
board as the next round team selection will be up shortly.
