The following Open Meets are being run by other clubs.
Barnet Copthall 200s Meet
Barnet Copthall are holding there 200m Development meet in October, hence I assume it will not be run in January, so if you need county times this may be a good opportunity. Single year age groups 9 to 13 plus 14 years plus. Date of gala 19 October, closing date for entries Friday 18th July, qualification times apply.
Wycombe B/C Long Course Meet
To be held on 18th October 2008 this popular gala is to be held at Wycombe Sports Centre, Handy Cross. This gala is unique as it allows B and C grade swimmers to compete. Individual ages from 9 to 16 years (age on 18/10/08) and 17 years plus. Closing date for entries is Friday 5th September 2008, please check time limits carefully.
To be held at The Venue, Borehamwood on Sunday 5th October. Single year age groups 9 to 14 years and 15plus, age on day. Closing date Friday 29th August, be wary of club no training dates and holidays.
Barnet Copthall Novices Meet
The Barnet Copthall Novices meet is to be held on 5th October 2008. The gala is open to swimmers who have not finished 1st, 2nd or 3rd in that event in any open meet. Single year age groups 9 to 12 years on 5th Oct. It is a licensed meet so has upper time limits. Closing date is 28th June to avoid disapointment
To be held on Saturday 29th November at the Olympic size 50m pool. Entries to be submitted to Ian Costello on or before Friday 19th September.
Barnet Copthall Summer Sprints
To be held on Sunday 6th July 2008 at Barnet copthall Pools. Single age groups in 50 and 100m events from 9 to 13years plus a sigle 14 and over age group. Middle session is the 200IM with the mystery skins and 3 age groups. Awards to top three. Closing date for entries 16th May.
